The good news is the whitebait is here, we saw bait about the half way point down the channel. It took a little chum to get them close, but only took one cast to fill the live well.

He hit the island then went inside along the grass edges and a few creeks. We did not see any redfish, but manged to catch a small trout and a flounder on the inside. I'm still thinking that the full moon as something to do with the lack of action. As the couple of fish we did catch really did not seem very aggressive.

I am currently building a blogging and forum web site about fishing in the Hernando/Pasco area. I personally fish the Hernando Beach area about 4 times a week when the weather is nice and write a blog about fishing in the Hernando Beach area. If any one is interested in sharing information about fishing in the Aripeka area please let me know by leaving a comment.

Requirements:
You have to love to fish.
Be willing to post information/knowledge and pictures about your fishing adventures and fishing conditions.
Fish Aripeka at least a couple of times a month, more is better!
You will need a free google gmail account for access to the blog account.
